For the Woman Serving in Ministry

side-view-people-reading-together

Scripture
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

Serving is sacred. But ministry can become draining when you forget you are human.

You pray for others while neglecting yourself. You encourage while running low. You show up even when you’re tired.

God sees what people overlook.

The harvest is promised—but it is tied to perseverance.

Jesus Himself withdrew from crowds to pray. If He needed replenishment, so do you.

Serving without abiding leads to burnout. Serving from abiding leads to fruit.

Sherelle’s Thoughts
“Ministry should flow from overflow. Release guilt when you need rest. Reframe breaks as preparation. Reconnect with your first love.”

Framework applied:

  1. Release — Let go of the savior complex.
  2. Reframe — You are called to serve, not to rescue everyone.
  3. Reconnect — Prioritize your own spiritual health.

Practical Application

  • Take one day this month solely for spiritual renewal.
  • Ask for help instead of carrying ministry alone.
  • Return to why you said yes in the first place.

Reflection Questions

  1. Am I serving from overflow or depletion?
  2. Where do I need replenishment?
  3. What boundaries would protect my calling?

Prevail Declaration
“I serve from strength, not exhaustion. I release guilt. I reframe rest as renewal. I reconnect with my first love. I will prevail NOW.”
